A visit to David Dyke in Horam (www.luthierssupplies.co.uk) to choose the raw materials. A fantastic treasure trove of guitar wood with some seriously friendly help from David and his team. Lots of really good advise and interest in the guitar making process made us feel really welcome. Plus the company of a lovely cat called Whiffy! Alex did not once say he was bored so that must say something.
